LEWISVILLE (AP) - Authorities say a Texarkana man was killed after his vehicle was struck by a train in south Arkansas.

Arkansas State Police say the fatal collision happened Wednesday on railroad tracks in Lafayette County. According to a preliminary report, 60-year-old Robert Collins drove over the train tracks in Lewisville, then tried to back up as the train approached.
