Thief gets Arkansas university's goat

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - A 4-year-old dwarf goat named Daisy has been stolen from an Arkansas college's petting zoo.

The Jonesboro Sun reports ( ) the Nigerian dwarf goat was taken from Arkansas State University's Bill and Alice Nix Petting Zoo. Daisy is chocolate brown with a light brown chest and ears.

The farm's director Mike Johnson says Daisy was the petting zoo's only dwarf goat. He says Daisy was secured in the petting zoo area and that she couldn't have gotten out. She was taken sometime between noon and 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

No suspects have been identified yet.
