Three people arrested for dog food theft in Pine Bluff

Pine Bluff police arrest three people after finding a stolen trailer truck of dog food.

A witness told police a tractor trailer rig at a house in the 3000 block of Taft street was unloading a lot of pallets of something. When police arrived, they found eight pallets of Rachael Rays premium dog was found. The pallet had 259 bags of the high grade dog food valued at about $50 a piece.

Police believe the truckload was stolen from Answorth Dog Food Plant in Dumas. Police say the truck was loaded with an order to Memphis and the rest of the trailer was loaded with the pallets that came from Pine Bluff. Police arrested the truck driver for theft charges. Police also arrested two people at the Taft Street location for theft by receiving.
