Tim Griffin raises $275K for re-election bid

LITTLE ROCK (AP) - U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin's campaign says he has raised more than $275,000 over the past three months for his re-election bid.

The Republican congressman from Arkansas on Monday reported having more than $447,334 in the bank for his re-election campaign next year. Griffin represents the 2nd Congressional District in central Arkansas and is seeking a third term next year.

No Democrats have announced a bid to challenge Griffin. He was named last year to the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee, a move that he said ruled out a run for governor or Senate.

Monday is the deadline for federal candidates to file their quarterly fundraising reports.
