Two former Mount St. Mary employees arrested in sexual assault case
Two former Mount St. Mary employees, who were involved in a sexual assault investigation in March, have been arrested.
Kelly O'Rourke was fired from Mount St. Mary in March after being accused of an inappropriate relationship with a student, who is now an adult. Kathy Griffin was fired at the same time for failing to report the relationship.
The victim told her parents she had a relationship with the coach since 2010. She was 16-years-old when the alleged relationship began.
After more investigation by LRPD, both women have been arrested and charged.
O'Rourke has been charged with first degree sexual assault. Griffin has been charged with failure to notify by mandated report.
