Two men charged with threatening pair of customers at Benton restaurant

BENTON (KATV) - Two men threatened a pair of victims at gunpoint Saturday night inside a local business.

Police were called to Denton's Trotline, a restaurant and bar at 2150 Congo Road, around 11:40 p.m. They allegedly found 42-year-old Kenneth Morgan and 28-year-old Darren Sellars threatening two men. No shots were fired but officers said they found Morgan with a pistol.

Morgan was charged with aggravated assault. Sellars was charged with public intoxication and obstruction of a governmental operation.

This was the second violent incident in as many months at Denton's. The case was forwarded to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board.
