Authorities are searching for two teenage boys who escaped the Arkansas Assessment and Treatment Center in Saline County.
They're looking for 16-year-old William Doyne. He's described at 6 feet 1 inch tall and 149 pounds.
The other teen is a 17-year-old black male who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 145 pounds. His name and photo cannot be released due to Arkansas law. Names of juvenile offenders can only be released if their crime could have resulted in an adult charge.
The two boys escaped the secure facility around 7:30 Monday night when staff was dispensing medication to the youth who need them, according to Amy Webb with the Department of Human Services. Within minutes the staff realized the two had left and the parameter of the 80 acre campus was shut down.
Bryant Police and State Police were immediately notified. Neighbors living within seven miles of the facility were alerted with an automatic phone call.
Crews searched through the night and used a dog team to try to track the teens. Authorities believe the two did go over the razor wire fence that surrounds the juvenile detention center.
If you have any information on where the teens could be, call your local police.
