      UALR picked to win Sun Belt volleyball, ASU 8th

      LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has been picked to win the Sun Belt Conference volleyball title and two UALR players are on the preseason All-Conference team.

      Arkansas State is picked to finish eighth in the poll of conference coaches that was released Monday.

      UALR's Edina Begic was picked as the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and is joined on the preseason All-Sun Belt team by teammate Sonja Milanovic.

      Texas State is second in the voting, followed by Georgia Southern; Texas-Arlington; South Alabama; Louisiana-Lafayette; Appalachian State; Arkansas State; Troy; Georgia State; and Louisiana-Monroe.
