The Arkansas State Police are looking for a particular make and model of SUV which may be the suspect vehicle that struck and killed a Lonoke woman.
Police say 39-year old Kimberly Perkins was apparently attempting to flag-down traffic to ask for assistance, after the vehicle in which she was a passenger ran out of gas.
They say Perkins was struck Friday evening near Lonoke on U.S. Highway 70 near Cypress Creek Road.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Perkins left the scene.
Special Agents of the State Police Criminal Investigation Division believe Perkins was hit by a GMC Denali manufactured between 1999 - 2002.
The driver of the SUV was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 70.
Agents believe there should be significant damage to the front, along the right-side of the truck.
A vehicle similar to the one pictured here is the same make and model of the suspect vehicle, but police are looking for one that is darker color.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Arkansas State Police at (501) 618-8100.
