UPDATE: Escaped murderer still on the loose

The search for an escaped murderer is growing as Curtis Reese, Jr. has been on the loose for nearly three days.

Reese escaped from the Tucker Unit Monday and authorities have few clues as to where he could be.

Well over 300 authorities have joined the manhunt for 33-year-old convicted killer Curtis Reese, Jr. since his escape.

Search dogs and officers are now scouring through eastern Lonoke County and officers still inspect vehicles.

"Finding him and getting him back in prison is priority number one," said Shea Wilson with the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Reports of a man running through a field in Allport re-routed the search Tuesday morning.

Rural terrain, open fields, and plenty of small, potential hiding spots may have helped Reese stay hidden.

A lot of people in the community are concerned Reese may have armed himself since his escape. Officials don't know if that's true, but they do consider him dangerous

Every law enforcement agency in the area is helping out including the Game and Fish Commission and State Police.{} They really are sparing no expense to put Reese back behind bars.

Call 911 immediately if you have any information about Reese's location.
