Utility work means lane closure in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas highway officials say drivers can expect a lane closure this week on Highway 7 in Hot Springs.

The State Highway and Transportation Department says utility crews will be installing a new water line. The work will require the southbound outside lane to be closed between Canyon Court and Park Avenue.

The closures will begin Monday, September and end by Sept. 27. The closures will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

Traffic will be controlled using cones and warning signs.
