Water search for missing woman to resume Thursday

{}FULTON, Ark. (AP) - Authorities have temporarily suspended the search for a woman on the Red River who has been missing since she and another person went over a highway bridge railing on Saturday during a crash on an icy bridge.

{}The search for 42-year-old Janice Northcross of Ashdown was called off Tuesday due to cold conditions on the river. Her husband, Eddie Northcross, says a dive team will try to find his wife on Thursday.

{}The divers were unable to start earlier because of freezing rain moving into southwestern Arkansas.

{}Janice Northcross was on Interstate 30 on Saturday, where cars were skidding on the ice. She either jumped or was knocked off the bridge with 51-year-old Ricky Norwood, who was rescued. They were trying to avoid being hit by a sliding tractor-trailer.
