HAMPTON, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a Louisiana woman was killed and three children were injured in a single-vehicle wreck in south Arkansas.
According to Arkansas State Police, the crash happened Monday afternoon on U.S. 167 in Calhoun County. A preliminary report says Freda Moore of Minden, Louisiana, crossed the center line of the highway for unknown reasons, then overcorrected and drove off the road.
The report says Moore's vehicle overturned twice. Moore was killed in the wreck.
Three children from Jonesboro, ranging in age from 5 to 13, were injured and taken to an El Dorado hospital.
