Community Health Centers of Arkansas recognizes the importance of working with families statewide to promote healthier communities.
For more than 31 years, Community Health Centers of Arkansas, Inc. (CHCA) has served as the unified voice for Arkansas’ Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), also known as Community Health Centers. CHCA is a not-for-profit organization whose federal mandate is to provide technical assistance, programming, and services for its 12 FQHCs and the combined 101 health center sites they operate across Arkansas. Community Health Centers have been the bedrock of many communities across the United States, especially in Arkansas. Health Centers are critical for healthcare delivery and improved economic growth in rural Arkansas.
Community Health Centers help bridge the gap for individuals who would otherwise remain isolated from health care due to lack of insurance, inability to pay for services, as well as transportation, language, and cultural barriers.
