Cut one large sheet of puff pastry dough in half. {}Roll each half to 14" long. Measure it lengthwise into thirds. {}Make equal number of 1/2 inch cuts on each outer third on the entire length of pastry. On center of each pastry half spread the following:


8 oz. softened cream cheese.

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1/2 cup diced red, yellow and green bell peppers and green onions

Layer outer edges over each otherPlace on bake pan and cover and chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.Brush with egg wash and bake at 385 for 20-25 minutes, until browned.

Let cool and cut into bite sized pieces.

(For a sweet Strudel bite, substitute pie fillings and light layer of sugar sprinkled over the cream cheese instead of the garlic and peppers/onions.) {}
