Grilled Peaches and Cream

Recipe: 4 peaches, peeled and sliced 1 stick of butter, melted 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup or more of Rum (*mother-in-law factor) 1/2 tsp of cinnamon 2# cream cheese, softened Directions for marinade: melt butter and mix everything except the peaches add Rum to taste Grilling Peaches: heat grill to medium heat (350F) peel peaches cut in half & remove pit roll peach halves in marinade for about 5 seconds put peach halves on grill for 3 minutes flip peaches and grill another 3 or 4 minutes If peaches are ripe you should only grill for a total of 6 minutes. If peaches are not very ripe it will take longer (possibly 10 minutes or even longer if peaches are not in season) remove from grill and place back into marinade to let cool slightly (about 5 minutes) To make Peaches & Cream mix: Chop the grilled peaches into chunks & mix with cream cheese If using in a Tortilla Wrap, add to a flour tortilla and spread over the entire wrap (edge to edge) in a thin coat roll up like a jelly roll and slice to desired thickness (try 1/2" pieces) If using as a topping to a bread, I recommend adding a little of the marinade to make the Peaches & Cream mixture easier to spread.{} Spread over your favorite bread and enjoy.
