      Rise & Dine Hot Cereal, 2/26/13

      • 4 cups skim milkblended with 3 cups water
      • 2 cups 8-grainhot cereal blend (such as Bob's red mill)
      • 2 cupsblueberries (fresh/frozen)
      • 1 tsp groundginger
      • 1 tsp salt,optional
      • 1/2 walnuts orpecans
      • 1/2 cup honey, oragave nectar

      Directions: Coat crock pot bowl with nonstick cookingspray.{} Combine milk and water with cereal in prepared crock potbowl.{} Stir in 1/2 cup of blueberries, the ginger and 3/4 tsp salt.{}Cover and set timer for low 8-9 hours.

      • In morning, stirin remaining 1 1/2 cups blueberries, salt, sweetener, top with nuts.{} Servewarm and save remainder for another day!
