      Shrimp Cakes with Remoulade Sauce, 7/31/13

      1 pound shrimp, medium is size, peeled and chopped

      1/4 cup mayonnaise

      1/4 cup bread crumbs

      1 egg

      2 green onions, diced

      1 tablespoon horseradish

      salt and pepper to taste

      olive oil to cooking

      1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in skillet, if cooking in batches, add more oil as needed.

      2. Mix all ingredients together, except olive oil, in a large bowl and form into patties (not to thick, you will need them to cook threw).

      3. Cook patty till brown on each side, remove and keep warm till all are cooked.

      Remoulade Sauce

      {}

      1/2 cup mayonnaise

      1 tablespoon mustard

      2 tablespoons ketchup

      1 teaspoon horseradish

      1 green onion, diced

      1 tablespoon lemon juice

      1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper

      1. Mix all together and chill.

      2{} Serve on top of shrimp cakes.
