1 Arkansan killed, 2 injured in head-on collision
PRAIRIE COUNTY, Ark. (KATV) —
An Arkansas man was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on collision in Prairie County over the weekend, according to State Police.
The preliminary crash report states a 2008 Pontiac G5 was driving north on U.S. Highway 79 near Ulm when it crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Avalanche on Sunday night.
Terek Tyler, 35, of Jacksonville was killed in the wreck.
The driver of the Chevy Avalanche, 28-year-old Jose Salazar, and a minor passenger in that vehicle were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
The report notes the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
