1 killed, 1 injured in fiery I-40 crash
LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KATV) —
A wreck on Interstate 40 in Lonoke County claimed the life of a Kentucky woman and left another person injured early Tuesday morning.
A State Police preliminary crash report states 31-year-old Caroline Renfrow was a passenger in a vehicle that was driving along I-40 westbound when it rear-ended another vehicle.
The report says the car Renfrow was in then jackknifed and caught fire.
The driver of that car, 28-year-old Taylor Renfrow, was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the wreck.
