2 killed in separate crashes on Arkansas roadways
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Two people died in separate crashes on Arkansas roadways Sunday, state police reported.
In El Dorado, Donald Manning Jr. was walking south on Arkansas 7 when someone driving a 2004 Toyota struck him about 5:30 a.m., according to state police. Manning, 42, was killed. The Toyota driver was not identified in a crash report.
In Hot Spring County, Sukhpreet Singh was driving an 18-wheeler west on Interstate 30 when he swerved to avoid an object on the road about 8:11 p.m., according to state police. The rig overturned, went off the road and crashed into a tree. Singh, 36, of Indianapolis, was killed.
State police said conditions were clear and dry when both crashes occurred.
