Conway woman behind bars in connection to son's death
A Conway woman is behind bars Saturday charged in the death of her son.
Conway Police arrested 55-year-old Jessie Mae Johnson early Saturday morning, charged with first degree murder for the stabbing death of her 38-year-old son Christopher Helms.
The incident occurred at a home on Appalachian Drive.
When officers arrived Johnson and the victim's sister were administering CPR.
Helms later died from his injuries. Johnson is being held in the Faulkner County Detention Center.
