Armed intruder beats man unconscious at Little Rock home
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Police are investigating after an armed intruder attacked a man at his Little Rock home Wednesday.
Officers were called about 2:10 p.m. to 28 Loblolly Drive, south of Colonel Glenn Road. They found Shawn Kalina, 18, bleeding from his head, according to a police report. He was taken to CHI St. Vincent Infirmary for treatment.
Kalina reportedly told police that two men had knocked on his door and said they were there to pick up "Trey's stuff." He said the men then forced their way inside the home and one of them struck him with a pistol and punched him until he was unconscious. Kalina told police he believed his ex-girlfriend was involved in the attack, the report says.
A 10-year-old girl in the home told investigators she locked herself inside a room during the attack and then fled to a neighbor's home, according to police.
The armed intruder is described only as black and 5-feet-11. He wore a bandana over his face.
The other intruder was said to be white, 5-feet-10 and 130 pounds.
