Sheriff: Bank robbery suspect arrested after fleeing on motorcycle
PULASKI COUNTY (KATV) —
Pulaski County authorities have arrested a suspect they say robbed a Pulaski County bank just after 12 p.m. Thursday.
The robbery took place at the Simmons Bank on Arch Street and Atwood Road in the Landmark community.
Lt. Cody Burk with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says Christopher Brixey, 42, entered the bank wearing a motorcycle helmet and displaying a firearm. Brixey demanded money then left on a white motorcycle.
Deputies located and arrested him less than 15 minutes later in a concrete block building on Circle Lake Drive. Burk says the motorcycle, firearms, and cash from the bank were all recovered.
Brixey faces charges of aggravated robbery and theft of property.
