Authorities are investigating after finding evidence of a bullet that went through the bedroom wall of a Little Rock house.

Police say they responded to a residence in the 1400 block of S. Van Buren Street around 3:49 a.m. Thursday after receiving a criminal mischief call.

When officers arrived on scene, they spoke with the homeowner who said he was standing in his kitchen when he heard six to seven shots and then a whistling sound.

He told police he walked into his bedroom and saw a round had gone through his bedroom wall.

According to the police report, shell casings were located in the 5000 block of 14th street.

No injuries were reported during the shooting.

Police say they were unable to locate a suspect.
