David Frasher

Davis Frasher has been unanimously selected by the Hot Springs Board of Directors as the next city manager of Hot Springs.

According to a release from the city of Hot Springs, Frasher is expected to start "on or about March 31".

Frasher began as a police officer in Independence, Missouri, before later opening a private law practice.

He started as city administrator in Oak Grove, Missouri in 1999, before serving the same position in Ashland, Wisconsin from 2001 until 2005.

Frasher was city manager for Grants Pass and Oregon City, both in Oregon.

Frasher and his wife, Gianina, have a daughter, Mila.

"We are delighted to be coming to Hot Springs," Frasher said in a release. "We were overcome by the warmth and hospitality of the people we met there during our visit last week. This, coupled with the city's professional challenges, high quality of life and potential for economic growth and revitalization made Hot Springs an easy choice."
