Gunfire damages 2 homes in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Police were investigating reports Monday that two homes in Little Rock had been damaged by gunfire.
Officers were first called at 10:29 a.m. to a home in the 2600 block of South State Street, south of downtown. Leonard Hall, 54, said he'd sat down and noticed his window blinds were broken, according to a police report. He reportedly looked closer and found several bullet holes in the window.
Hall, who said he'd heard gunfire in the area a few days earlier, also found bullet holes in his motorcycle and storage shed, according to the report.
Police were called 12 hours later to a home in the 5800 block of Chaucer Lane on the city's southwest side. They found several bullet holes in the front of the house and several shell casings in the street. A witness said she heard gunfire, went outside and saw a red Chevrolet Cruze traveling east, according to a police report.
Officers found a handgun behind the front tire of a vehicle parked outside the home, the report says.
No injuries were reported at either of the homes.
There were no descriptions of suspected shooters.
