Hot Springs police investigating early Sunday homicide

A man is dead after an early Sunday shooting in Hot Springs.

Officers responded to a shots fired call shortly after 1 a.m. at Boot Scooters in the 400 block of Broadway.

When they arrived, they found 37- year-old Timothy Martin of Hot Springs dead in a 2007 Infinity G35 parked on Broadway Street, across from Boot Scooters.

Authorities say the business was open at the time of the shooting.

Hot Springs police are following up on leads and interviewing witnesses.

Authorities say they do not think this homicide was random, they believe Martin was individually targeted.

No suspect information is known at this time.
