Little Rock police investigate early morning shooting at motel

Little Rock police are investigating a shooting at a West Little Rock motel early Tuesday morning.

Police say the shooting took place at the Motel 6 on 10524 West Markham Street just after 4:30 a.m.

A witness told police two people were talking outside a third floor motel management got a noise complaint and asked the two men to return to their room.

Police say once inside, one of the men pulled out a handgun and told two women in the room to undress and "play with themselves." The other man, identified as 31-year-old Antonio Price of Little Rock, tried to make the suspect stop. That is when the unidentified suspect fired two shots, striking Price in the chest.

Witnesses say the black male suspect fled in an unknown direction. He is wanted on charges of 1st degree battery and kidnapping.

Price was taken to Baptist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say are interviewing witnesses.
