LRPD: Suspect on the loose after shooting a police car

The Little Rock Police SWAT team was called to 32nd and State Street, after shots were fired on Friday around 10 a.m.

One unmarked detective vehicle was struck several times by gunfire, but police confirm the detective was not injured.

According to LRPD, the suspect possibly ran into a house in the 3100 block of Fulton Street.

SWAT teams are working to clear homes and secure the area.

Little Rock police said there have been multiple shootings in this area within the last week.
