Authorities say a man was robbed by five men while he was selling narcotics in Boyle Park on Monday at approximately 12:45 p.m.

The man assaulted, 25-year-old Timothy Hampton of Little Rock, told police he had walked to his home after being robbed.

According to the police report, Hampton was bleeding from his face and the back of his head.

Hampton reported that he was picked up on Sardis Road by a 24-year-old and three other men before being taken to Club Envy located on Colonel Glenn.

At Club Envy, they met up with a fifth person in the parking lot.

Hampton told police that he and all five suspects went to Boyle Park so he could sell them narcotics. However, after arriving, Hampton said the 24-year-old and three of the other men attacked him. The fifth suspect then came from behind and placed a bag over his head, according to the police report.

Hampton reported one of the suspects then struck him in the face with the butt of a shotgun.

All five suspects left Hampton in the park and fled in an unknown direction.

According to LRPD, the only thing taken during the robbery was methamphetamine.

The Pulaski County jail shows Hampton was booked into the detention center on Tuesday on a parole hold.
