The jury announced a verdict in the 2011 murder case of a Hot Springs Village dispatcher.

Kevin Duck has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Dawna Natske.

The jury sentenced Duck to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The jury made its decision on Friday, less than a day after both sides rested in the trial of Kevin Duck.

Duck's attorney did not call any witnesses to the stand but, during closing arguments, questioned the prosecutors' evidence linking Duck to the killing of Natske.

"We apologize for what they went through and hopefully the job that we did and the outcome of the trial will ease some of that suffering a little bit, but I know it won't take it away," Joe Graham, chief deputy prosecutor, said.
