Missing Mississippi County girl found safe, two people arrested
MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, AR —
In a press conference held late Friday night, the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office and Second Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington announced two people are in custody on suspicion of kidnapping a Mississippi County girl.
Ashton Talley, 18, went missing from her Mississippi County home on Saturday, February 17th. She has been found safe in Washington State. She is on her way back to Arkansas.
Authorities say Talley received a text message from a Washington state number the morning she went missing.
Authorities have not released the names of the two people arrested but say they were taken into custody in Washington. They will be extradited to Arkansas.
