Police: 2 juveniles plead not guilty in Little Rock shooting

Two teens are pleading not guilty after being accused of robbing and shooting a man inside his Little Rock home Saturday morning.

Jakiem Grant and Jahiem Macon entered a not guilty plea on Monday.

Both Grant and Macon are being held on a $25K bond.

Police say two 15-year-old boys are in custody after being accused of robbing and shooting a man in Little Rock.

Authorities say Jakiem Grant and Jahiem Macon walked up to the victim in the 900 block of Lewis Street as he was walking home around 8:35 a.m. Saturday morning.

The victim told officers Grant and Macon threatened to shoot him in the head if he didn't give them money. After the victim told the suspects he did not have any money, the suspects followed him into his home and shot him twice.

A neighbor told police he saw the suspects fleeing the victim's residence and entered to find the victim with a gunshot wound to the back and abdomen

Officers say Grant and Macon were located shortly after the incident and taken into custody.

According to LRPD, both Grant and Macon are being charged as adults for aggravated robbery and first-degree battery.

The condition of the victim is unknown.
