Police: Suspects forced victim to drive them to ATM and withdraw money
Little Rock police are searching for two men in connection with a violent robbery and carjacking early Friday morning.
Police say the two men approached a woman in the parking lot of the Walmart on Bowman Rd. and forced her at gunpoint to drive to a nearby ATM.
She was waiting in her car before walking into work when it happened.
"She initially said they came up to her and demanded money," said Lt. Michael Ford. "She didn't have any money on her, and they recognized she had a debit card. They forced her to go to the bank and take money out of her bank account."
The victim drove the two men down Chenal Parkway to Arvest Bank, where she was forced to withdraw $500.
They then left the bank, drove back to Walmart, forced her out of her car and stole it.
Police believe the suspects are driving a newer dark grey Nissan Sentra with a possible out of state license plate.
