Rapper Travis Scott was taken into police custody Saturday for encouraging people at a concert at the Walmart Amp in Rogers to rush the stage, bypassing security protocols put in place for fans' safety.

Rogers Police Department posted on its Facebook page that Scott, whose real name is Jaques Webster, was taken into custody for inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Police say several people, including a member of the police department and a security company employee, were injured in the rush.

Those injured were treated on site by Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical.

Webster was taken to the Benton County Detention Center.

According to our sister station KHOG, he was released without bond after he was issued a citation.
