A 24/7 Wall St. report has narrowed down the drunkest city in every state.

To find the drunkest city, 24/7 Wall St. looked at the percentage of adults (men and women older than 18) who reported binge or heavy drinking in each state's metro areas.

In Arkansas, the Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers metro area takes the top spot, with 15.6 percent of adults reporting excessive drinking. 24/7 Wall St. says wealthier individuals are more likely to drink excessively, and Fayetteville reports the highest median household income of an Arkansas metro area.

Arkansas, as a whole, has the ninth lowest percentage in the nation, sitting at 15.3 percent. Meanwhile, the national share is 18 percent.

The report says the states with the lowest excessive drinking rates were mainly found in the South and many of the states with the highest rates were found in the Midwest.

As for the number of alcohol-related driving deaths for Arkansas, the report listed it at 31.6 percent.
