A rapper facing federal gun charges after an incident in Forrest City pleaded not guilty in federal court in Little Rock Tuesday.

Ricky Hampton, also known as "Finesse 2Tymes", entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.

Hampton was booked in the St. Francis County jail on the federal gun charge, in addition to charges of 2nd degree criminal mischief, 1st degree terroristic threatening, aggravated assault, and 1st degree battery.

Hampton was wanted on a felony warrant out of Forrest City in an incident where he allegedly shot at a vehicle with an AK-style pistol and hit the driver with gunfire outside Club Envy on June 25.

He was extradited from Alabama to Arkansas a day after he performed at the Power Ultra Lounge club in Little Rock on July 1 when 28 people were injured in a mass shooting.

He is considered a person of interest in that case.

Hampton had also previously pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery in Tennessee and was sentenced to eight years in prison.
