Caught: Hot Springs PD Wanted Wednesday

Billy Rideout turned himself in to the Hot Springs Police Department on Tuesday morning.

He has been booked into the Garland County Jail.

ORIGINAL (4/11):

Hot Springs Police are looking for a suspect in a string of burglaries.

Police are looking for Billy Rideout, 44, he has two warrants each for commercial burglary, criminal mischief, and theft of property.

Authorities tell KATV Rideout, and another man, Darold Cross, 45, used a crow bar to smash the front glass of 19th Hold Liquor on Malvern Avenue.

They only got away with about $10 from the tip jar on the counter, but caused more than $600 worth of damage to the front door.

Police say the same night the pair broke the glass door at the Sonic Drive in on Albert Pike, only getting away with a few dollars in coins, but causing about $350 worth of damage.

Authorities say the duo is also suspected in several burglaries in Saline County.

Cross has been arrested and is awaiting trial, but police are still looking for Rideout. They believe he's in the Little Rock area.
