Wanted Wednesdays: Benton Police
BENTON (KATV) —
A new segment on KATV is airing on Wednesday nights, and it will feature local police departments and their most wanted suspect.
“Wanted Wednesdays” will feature suspects wanted for a variety or crimes, ranging from capital murder to credit card fraud.
Local police departments will choose a suspect they believe is dangerous or harmful to the public and that is who KATV will feature.

To kick off the first “Wanted Wednesdays” Channel 7 reached out to the Benton Police Department, where they are already running a similar program via social media.
"We get leads, not every time, but as we start searching for people I’ll post it on social media and we'll get responses individuals in the community which really helps us locate these individuals,” said Sergeant Quinton Jackson. “Sometimes they see it themselves, the people that we're looking for they come on down and they turn themselves in, which is usually a lot easier on them because they can kind of plan for it."
