Michael Todd, whose family of professional arm wrestlers was featured in this July, 2016 Beyond the Game story, recently won the World Arm Wrestling League's 2017 Super Heavyweight Championship in Las Vegas. He told KATV it is the biggest win of his career. Further, two weeks later, his wife, Rebecca, and son, Ryan, both won American Arm-Sport Association national championships in Michigan. That brings the family's total number of titles to 45 (34 for Michael, six for Rebecca, five for Ryan). You can watch the story on this family's shared, albeit unique passion here.

Kaitlin Bounds, a Russellville runner featured in this Beyond the Game story two weeks ago, is set to begin competition at the World Para Athletics Championships Monday in London. Her first event was supposed to be Saturday, but the prelims were canceled. Her first event will now be the 1,500 meter final on Monday. You can watch Kaitlin's story, and learn more about all that she's overcome to reach this point, here.
