Arkansas State holds full-contact scrimmage

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas State football team held a full-contact scrimmage on the team's 10th practice since opening fall workouts.

The Red Wolves ran more than 100 plays beginning at approximately 9 a.m.

ASU head coach Blake Anderson said afterward that he likes the intensity and the energy he saw during Saturday's workout.

The Red Wolves will continue practicing on Sunday ahead of Fan Appreciation Day next Saturday at 10 a.m. at Centennial Bank Stadium in Jonesboro.
