Coaches for 2017 East-West All-Star basketball games announced

Beebe's Eric Chambers, president of the Arkansas High School Coaches Association, announced the head basketball coaches and their staffs for the 2017 East-West Arkansas Army National Guard/Arkansas High School Coaches Association Girls and Boys All-Star teams.

Fellow coaches were responsible for the selections.

The head coach for the East girls is Harlan Davis of Pocahontas, and the head coach of the East boys is Wes Swift of Jonesboro. The West girls head coach is Vic Rimmer of Fayetteville, and the head coach of the West boys is BJ Ross of Charleston.

The 62nd All-Star basketball games will be played at the Farris Center on the UCA campus on Thursday, June 22nd with the girls game beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the boys game immediately following.

The 2017 Arkansas High School Coaches Association Coaches Clinic will also be held on the UCA campus June 20-23.
