Weekend anchor and general assignment reporter Janelle Lilley joined Channel 7 in December 2011. Lilley got her start at WHSV, an ABC affiliate in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley where she worked as a reporter. During her time there, Lilley also co-hosted the station's hit high school football show, "The EndZone."
Lilley holds a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
When she isn't chasing down a news story, Lilley enjoys transforming into a tourist and exploring local towns, playing board games, and cheering her TERPS on to victory.
