It's going to be a great day with mostly sunny skies and highs near 60 degrees. A cold front will bring much colder air Saturday and Sunday with highs only in the 30s and 40s and wind chill values in the teens and 20s. A disturbances will pass by Arkansas on Sunday into Monday bringing rain chances back to the state. A light, wintry mix is possible for northern Arkansas. As the disturbance nears our state Sunday morning, we could see a brief period of light freezing drizzle or rain even down into central and western Arkansas until temperatures warm to above freezing and all precipitation turns to all rain. We will keep a close eye on this as timing and temperatures come into play, and may change the winter weather outlook. Much warmer air will then move in next week.
