No Heat Advisory today, but heat index values will still be very hot, around 100-104 degrees. The strong ridge of high pressure is weakening and moving to the west. This will allow a weak front to move close enough to northern Arkansas for continued chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms each afternoon this week. They will be more numerous today and tomorrow in the north with more isolated activity south. High temperatures will likely range in the low to mid 90s this week. Please stay hydrated, take frequents breaks, check on the elderly, and take care of your pets. Be sure to follow us on Twitter! @KATVNed, @KATVBarry, @KATVToddYak and @KATVMelinda.
