Federal grand jury indictments in the murder of Ashley Bush and her unborn child

A federal grand jury returned with an indictment in the murder of Ashley Bush and her unborn baby, our content partner 40/29 reported.

Amber Waterman, 42, was accused of kidnapping and murdering 33-year-old Bush, a mother of three.

Bush was found dead on Nov. 3 in southern Missouri after going missing on Halloween, the Benton County Sheriff's Office said.

Waterman is charged with one count of kidnapping resulting in death. 

According to the indictment, Amber kidnapped Ashley Bush in order to claim her unborn child as her own. The kidnapping resulted in Amber's death.

Jamie Waterman is charged with one count of being an accessory after the fact to kidnapping resulting in death. According to the indictment, Jamie assisted his wife in order to hinder and prevent her from being arrested. The indictment states Jamie knew Amber committed the offense of kidnapping resulting in death.
