Ark. women's basketball team opens drills

FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - Arkansas women's basketball coach Tom Collen has opened drills for the 2013-14 season.

Collen said after the team's first workout Tuesday that he is expecting a good first week of practice. His team will work out for five days in a row.

The Razorbacks will have 30 practices before an exhibition game Nov. 3 against Missouri Southern. The team opens the season Nov. 8 at home against Sam Houston State. That game will be played at 11 a.m. so the team can invite elementary school students to attend.
