WABBASEKA, AR. (KATV)--The state flag turned 100 this year, and today's fair was one of the stopping places for a motorcade to where it all began.
Several cars lined up to drive the state flag to Wabbaseka for a memorial dedication ceremony.
That's the hometown of the flag's designer, Ms. Willie Hocker.
Her design was officially adopted in February of 1913.
The first flag was presented in Hot Springs, when the Arkansas State Fair was held there.
