FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville police arrested former Razorback football player, Tenarius Wright, for DWI and other charges early Sunday morning.
A spokesman for the Fayetteville Police Department says the 23-year old former linebacker was pulled over around 3 AM near the intersection of Leverett and Eagle Street after officers saw his vehicle swerving.
After officers performed a field sobriety test, police say Wright was taken to the station where he refused a breathalyzer.
Wright faces charges of driving while intoxicated, violation of implied consent, no tail light and driving in unsafe conditions.
Wright was booked in the Washington County jail around 9:15 and bonded out later Sunday morning.
The linebacker was recently invited to tryout at the Kansas City Chiefs rookie mini-camp in May.
