(KATV) Several pharmacies were broken into early Friday morning; police say at least two are connected.
On August 9, at about 2:30 a.m., suspects kicked the door in at the East End Pharmacy off Arch Street. Lt. Scott Courtney with the Saline County Sheriff's office tells Channel Seven that the suspects only got a box of stuffed toys near the door. Police suspect the alarm scared them.
Then at 6:30 a.m., police were called to the Shannon Hills pharmacy. Asst. Chief Spears with the Shannon Hills police says the suspects took pills and cough syrup.
Police believe the suspects are in a white Chevy Traverse.
Corporal McCrary Means confirms that after midnight Thursday, August 8, a pharmacy was robbed in Hot Springs. The suspects got away with several pill bottles. Police are investigating to determine if it is connected with the robberies on Friday.
